Bracknell Armed Forces Day 2010
Bracknell Armed Forces Day The 27th June 2009 was the first ever national Armed Forces Day to honour the UK's Service personnel, past, present and future

A successful celebration of National Armed Force’s Day was undertaken in the Bracknell Town Centre that demonstrated to the general public of what the services and its associated organisations have done in the past and whilst promoting a greater understanding of the excellent work our forces are presently doing worldwide.

The day included stands from organisations such as the Royal British Legion, The Royal Naval Association, RAF Association and Cadet Forces, etc., there were displays provided by the ATC Cadets; with a presentation of Veterans Lapel Badges to local veterans by Mayor Bob Wade. We were proud to share the parade with the band of the Life Guards. A day that was enjoyed by everyone.

The Bracknell Armed Forces Day Committee would like to thank all those personnel involved in the organising of the event, as well as all the local businesses and organisations that assisted in the funding of the event.
